Police say the vandalism started in September in the Buffalo Run neighborhood with destroying lights, entering unlocked cars, starting a fire and leaving faucets on.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — The Commerce City Police Department is looking for the people responsible in a string of vandalisms in the Buffalo Run neighborhood.

Police say the vandalism started in September, including destroying landscaping lighting, entering unlocked cars, setting fire on a garage and leaving faucets on while drains were clogged.

“There’s about five or six events,” said Larry Martinez, a detective with the Commerce City Police Department. 

The Commerce City Police Department believes the incidents are all related, including the most recent incident on the 16000 block of East 109th Place. Police say the vandals set fire to scrap wood in the garage, among other things. 

“They had turned on water faucets, caused some damages to that unfinished home,” Martinez said.
