Holy Plow: Annual name a plow contest starts [Video]

“That name again is Mr. Plow.” The Ada County Highway District launched the annual contest, people can enter names until Oct. 12.

ADA COUNTY, Idaho — The Ada County Highway District (ACHD)has launched its annual “Name a Plow” contest. Residents of the county can enter their own ideas for three ACHD snowplows, people vote and then the winners are announced.

“The Ada County Highway District is calling on the community to help personalize its snowplow fleet through the second annual “Name a Plow” contest. This fun and engaging contest gives residents the chance to come up with creative names for three ACHD snowplows that will hit the roads this winter. A fourth plow will be named by an ACHD employee,” a news release stated.
