A strong G3 geomagnetic storm warning was issued by NOAA as a solar storm heads toward Earth. The northern lights will be possible tonight. Can Indiana see them?
INDIANA, USA — UPDATE: The heart of the solar storm missed Earth, but some of the energy caused G2 storm levels. A G2 storm does not bring northern lights to Indiana. You have to be close to the U.S. – Canada border for a chance.
