Company donates nearly 60K socks to Jackson County students [Video]

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) – It’s a small thing that many people never consider, but one group said it’s something that can make all the difference.

Bombas, a sock company, partnered with the Community Services League to give away nearly 60,000 pair of sock to students.

Students in the Independence, Fort Osage, Blue Springs, Grain Valley, and Oak Grove School Districts took home the new accessories Thursday afternoon.

Bombas has partnered with the Jackson County organization for seven years. During that time they have handed out millions of socks.

“It’s so important that your feet are dry and warm once they become wet and cold and it just leads to so many other things. So it is so important to have a nice, dry pair of socks,” Mark Graber, Community Services League, said.
