Development aims to bring dozens of hotel rooms and apartment residences to downtown Corvallis | News [Video]

CORVALLIS, Ore. — A new apartment and hotel complex is in the works along the Corvallis riverfront, with developers set to build over 100 hotel rooms and apartments in a “significant” addition to downtown.

The development at the corner of southwest First Avenue and southwest Madison Avenue is being done by Obie Companies, the same group who built the Gordon Hotel and Lofts in downtown Eugene.

“It really is going to be The Gordon Hotel and Residence of Corvallis,” said Brian Obie, President and CEO of the development company. “[In Eugene] we’ve got the Gordon Hotel and the Gordon Lofts and people love it, and that has led us to Corvallis.”
