CHICO, Calif. – More art is coming to Chico, thanks to the Downtown Business Association and other organizations.
It’s an effort to beautify the city and to provide an opportunity for local students to showcase their art work. The program is called the Chico Open Board Art Project or COBA for short.
Mayor Andrew Coolidge says the project originally started in 2000 and it’s now making a comeback. Coolidge says the art will be placed in historic downtown Chico, both on public and private properties.
