NFP continues acquisition spree with IHI Group takeover [Video]

Insurance brokerage NFP has completed the acquisition of Dublin-based advisory firm IHI Group, which advises clients in financial planning, healthcare and general insurance needs.

NFP, a subsidiary of Aon, said the IHI CEO Philip Brennan would join the company as VP of business development and report to managing director in Ireland, Colm Power.

Patrick Brennan and Tommy McGowan will also join from IHI as VP of health and wellbeing and senior health executive, respectively.

“As we strengthen our presence in Ireland, we find it crucial to further develop our expertise and capabilities in the health and wellness benefits space,” said Power.

“IHI Group is a leader in Ireland’s health insurance broking industry, and the addition of their team will enable us to deliver best-in-class consultancy, advice and solutions to our clients.”
