ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson was elected to his 10th term in Congress Tuesday night, defeating a GOP challenge from Eugene Yu in a heavily Democratic 4th district.
Johnson is a member of the House Judiciary Committee, and the Transportation & Infrastructure Committee. He serves as the ranking member of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet.
The 4th congressional district is majority Black and includes many of Atlanta’s inner eastern suburbs, including Conyers, Covington, Decatur, Lilburn, Stone Mountain and Lithonia.
