TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Student entrepreneurs at Indiana State University got to showcase their businesses on campus on Thursday.
It’s all a part of the university’s Students’ Small Business Market event hosted by the Career Center.
Organizers say 14 student businesses set up displays. Businesses ranged from graphic design services to jewelry.
“It’s very important to give a space to students to show what they have and show their passion and what they are interested in,” said Johanna Lumbu, a student selling prints of her art at the event.
The Executive Director of Career Services, Carrie Lutz, says she’s noticed this generation of students are very interested in business.
