SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation invited the public to an open house for the Falls Park master plan.
The event will be held next Thursday, Nov. 21, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Startup Sioux Falls’ MarketBeat Theater on 6th Street.
“The Falls Park Master Plan is a grand vison, with big ideas, that are rooted in community input,” Don Kearney, Director of Parks and Recreation said. “The master plan provides a roadmap based on community input that aims to make Falls Park a year-round regional destination. It’s fitting to finalize this master plan now as there is also great momentum in the new developments downtown.”
The public open house includes a short presentation at 5:30 p.m. along with displays and visuals of the proposed roadmap for the next 30 to 50 years of the falls.
