The highly-anticipated match will be streaming on Netflix, but Sacramentans can visit several bars in the region to watch the fight with a crowd.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will finally square off in the boxing ring Friday night at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
The highly-anticipated fight was originally scheduled for July but was pushed back after Tyson experienced a medical emergency on a flight. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation said Tyson’s physical condition met the criteria for the fight to proceed.
The fight is scheduled for eight two-minute rounds, as opposed to the normal three minutes and 10 or 12 rounds for most pro fights. Tyson and Paul will also use heavier gloves with the idea of decreasing the power of punches.
The match will be exclusively on Netflix for all subscribers and there will not be any additional pay-per-view charges.
