RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – A look at snow and road conditions after Thursday night and Friday’s snowstorm.

Snow and rain to come this Sunday and into Monday.

Local Highway Patrol and NDOT’s advice:

– check weather and road conditions on www.nvroads.com.

– Share your travel itinerary so others know when to expect you.

– Avoid quick starts, stops and fast turns.

– Reduce speed.

– Make sure to have chains at the ready

– Keep snacks, water, and a blanket in your car
