State championships heating up across Connecticut [Video]

(WFSB) – State championships are starting to heat up all across the state of Connecticut!

Volleyball, soccer, and field hockey state championships all happened this weekend, and the action was a true can’t miss.

Here are a list of the scores from this weekend’s games:

• Class L field hockey: Staples 5, Darien 2
• Class M field hockey: Guilford 1, Branford 0 (2-OT)
• Class S field hockey: Shepaug Valley 1, Sacred Heart Academy 0
• Class L boys soccer: Brookfield 3, Pomperaug 2 (PK)
• Class M boys soccer: Tolland 2, Weston 1
• Class M girls soccer: Lewis Mills 2, Northwest Catholic 1
• Class LL girls soccer: Mercy 2, Saint Joseph’s 1
• Class LL volleyball: Darien 3, Glastonbury 2
• Class L volleyball: Farmington 3, Bristol Central 2
• Class M volleyball: Joel Barlow 3, Granby Memorial 0

The Mercy and Saint Joseph’s final came down to the wire, with Mercy stealing a victory in the final second of the game.
