WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – Many spots in North Central Wisconsin had their first measurable snowfall of the season. The highest totals locally were in the southeast parts of the region. In the state, accumulations of 3-4″ were found from the Fox Valley south to around Milwaukee and east of Madison. Rain showers will be exiting Thursday evening, while the winds come down as well. Clouds are going to be more common than sun Friday and this weekend. The next risk of rain or snow showers is on Sunday into Monday as a front pushes across the northern half of the area. Seasonably chilly for the first days of the Gun Deer hunting season in the state, with a chance of snow showers on Thanksgiving.
