Small businesses to host Pink Friday in St. Marys [Video]

ST. MARYS, W.Va. (WTAP) – Small businesses in St. Marys are hosting Pink Friday in downtown to remind consumers to shop small.

The event will feature a variety of activities such as carriage rides, face painting, and a Shop Small Bingo. 25 businesses will be participating in the event.

Sarah Schmidt, a co-host of Pink Friday, said it’s important to shop small before shopping at chain stores.

The event will occur on Nov. 22, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
