Marietta crime man found shot and killed along Franklin Gateway [Video]

MARIETTA, Ga. — A man was found shot and killed in Marietta early Friday morning, police said.

There were few details initially available about the incident. Police said officers heard a gunshot in the area of 677 Franklin Gateway and responded to find a man shot and killed.

There was no immediate additional information. The address of the incident incorporates a small retail strip not far from South Marietta Parkway and I-75, but there was no information to suggest anything happened at any of the businesses preceding the shooting.
