Fire in Muskegon Heights overtakes garage [Video]

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. — 13 ON YOUR SIDE had a crew on the scene of a fire that broke out in Muskegon Heights early Saturday morning.

Authorities said the fire started in the garage and spread to the house, causing minor damage before being put out.

Muskegon Heights firefighters said they called for assistance from Muskegon, Norton Shores and Fruitport. 

Nobody was inside at the time of the fire and the cause is still being investigated.
