Forecast: Mild temperatures return for the weekend along with rain chances | Weather [Video]

Good morning Mid-Missouri and happy Saturday! We are off to a cold start to the weekend with temperatures in the low 30s to upper 20s across the region. Extra layers are a must have this morning as well as a large hot coffee to help wake you up and keep you toasty.

We will be slow to warm, getting to a high of 53 degrees by 3 PM. Despite the chilly start, we will be hanging around average for this time of year with mostly sunny conditions. This afternoon will be great for taking the pup on a walk or to the dog park before chances of rain make a come back for tomorrow. 

Overnight temperatures drop into the lower 40s with increasing cloud cover throughout the night. Jackets will be needed for Saturday night plans but we won’t be getting as cold as we did this morning.
