The Front Market: Thousands support local art at Waterloo Park [Video]

AUSTIN, Texas — Thousands of people in Central Texas spent the weekend supporting artists and small businesses from across the state.

This fall marked the first time The Front Market was held at Waterloo Park in Downtown Austin.

Arts and culture nonprofit Future Front Texas produced the free two-day event on Saturday and Sunday. It showcased more than 175 vendors, a record for the event, with a focus on amplifying women and LGBTQ+ creatives and small business owners.

The Front Market started in 2016 as a small meetup between artists.
