Downtown Chico’s Christmas Preview is on for Sunday, rain or shine! | News [Video]

CHICO, Calif. – Downtown Chico will be brimming with holiday cheer, festive shopping, delicious treats, live entertainment, and activities for all ages on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024 — rain or shine!

The annual event is a tradition that is sponsored by the Downtown Chico Business Association (DCBA) every year.

Santa shows up for photos with the kids, and there are carolers, coffee and hot chocolate, dancers, and even a group of accordion players. The Grinch will make an appearance at Chico’s Barbershop. 

A holiday pop-up market will be featured, as well as festive items an displays at he brick and mortar stores all through the downtown area. Also, there will be free candy cane balloons at the Chico Children’s Museum.

Streets close at 2:30 p.m., and all cars must be moved out of the area by 3:30 p.m., on Main and Broadway from 2nd to 4th St., and 3rd St. from Salem to …
