CHICO, Calif. – With Thanksgiving landing on the latest day the holiday could be, it gives fewer days to prep for Christmas.
The owner of Sierra Cascade Christmas Trees told Action News Now this has affected business over the past couple of days.
“Sales have been condensed a little bit more due to the fact that it is the latest Thanksgiving could be. We open about three to four days before Thanksgiving,” David Beresford said. “Compared to years past there is more sales-per-day because there is less time.”
Several families at the business looking for their perfect Christmas trees said it felt like the time to buy their tree.
