Darcelle XV bought by new owner to prevent closure [Video]

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – Good news for customers of the popular nightclub Darcelle XV, as its doors will remain open.

In an announcement on the nightclub’s Facebook page, they shared that they are now under new ownership and their doors will remain open.

It comes after business slowed down after the passing of Walter Cole, more commonly known as ‘Darcelle’ in March of 2023.

For years it was a thriving business in the heart of Old Town but after Darcelle’s passing things started to slow down.

Fans answered the call to come back to the club and now its getting ready to celebrate 58 years of business in 2025.
