Jones Elementary dismisses students early for heating repairs: GCS [Video]

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Guilford County Schools has announced that Jones Elementary will be dismissing students early today at 11 a.m. 

The school district said the early dismissal is to allow crews to work on repairing the elementary school’s heating unit.

Students will receive lunch before they leave, according to the school district.

Several other schools in the county have had remote learning days in response to heating issues.
