Robert Eggers’ sumptuously-made Nosferatu is the spookiest movie premiering this Christmas. Given how meticulously it works to recreate the past, a vinyl release of its soundtrack feels more than fitting. Nosferatu adapts the classic story of Dracula (through the lens of the 1922 film of the same name) for a gothic romance that doesn’t skimp on the blood and rats. Lily-Rose Depp stars as the tormented Ellen, whose husband (Nicholas Hoult) travels to a remote castle in Transylvania where the mysterious Count Orlok (Bill Skargard) awaits.
