FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – The Flint Farmers’ Market is offering a unique Christmas gift idea this year.
On Saturday, the farmers’ market began selling bricks recovered from the demolition of its former facility on East Boulevard Drive.
A limited number of bricks will be available for purchase for $100 apiece, including a commemorative metal plaque. The market anticipates having about 150 bricks available for purchase.
Anyone interested in purchasing a piece of Flint history can either:
- Order a brick online through the market website and pick it up at the market gift basket station.
- Purchase a brick in-person at the Friends of the Market booth.
