KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville community will have a chance to find free basic healthcare during a telehealth clinic in South Knoxville on Tuesday.
Remote Area Medical said it would host the telehealth clinic in collaboration with Steps House, a nonprofit that works to support people as they recover from addiction and homelessness. Clinic doors will open at 10 a.m., according to RAM.
Free telehealth services will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. However, organizers said there would only be medical services available — no dental or vision services would be offered. No ID will be required for help, and computers will be set up at the clinic.
An on-site nurse will also be available to help people communicate with medical experts through telehealth software. There will also be medical giveaways available for patients.
