Alexandria gearing up for annual holiday parades [Video]

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Alexandria is getting into the festive spirit as it kicks off the ‘biggest holiday weekend’.

On Saturday, December 7, visitors can attend the 53rd Annual Alexandria Scottish Christmas Walk Parade, which will feature Scottish clans and Scottie dogs, and then the 24th Annual Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights once the sun goes down.

“So excited. It’s a huge day in Alexandria. And you know all season long, it really is a wonderful place.
