PEORIA (25News Now) – Snow will come to an end by this evening and then we’ll see some lingering clouds at times this evening and tonight. Lows tomorrow will be near 10 and any breezes will knock wind chills into the single digits. Expect mostly cloudy skies tomorrow with highs in the upper 20s and low 30s. Precipitation chances will return on Saturday as rain moves in from southwest to northeast during the morning and early afternoon. There is a slight chance for a brief period of either some snow or freezing rain at the onset of precipitation, especially northwest of Peoria, but otherwise we can expect rain to start the weekend. Showers will eventually taper off Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Rainfall totals could reach upward of 0.50-0.75″.
