UPDATE: The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office posted that around 8 p.m. Saturday, Terrence Williams was in custody. A search was underway for a wanted man after deputies said he shot and killed a person on Friday night.Authorities are investigating a shooting after finding a man dead.On Dec. 13, at approximately 10:50 p.m., the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, coroner’s office, emergency medical services and SLED were called out to a home on Cow Trail in Laurens regarding a shooting incident. The coroner said that upon arrival, 32-year-old resident Quienzavius Terrell Rogers was found dead at the scene. An autopsy showed that Rogers died from a single gunshot to the side of the neck.The case is still being investigated by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office and SLED. Over the weekend deputies searched for 38-year-old Terrence Jerrell Williams.Authorities described Williams to be 5-foot-11 and 220 pounds. Williams was considered to be armed and …
