SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Temperatures were around freezing to start the day Sunday with dense freezing fog in spots. Expect patchy slick spots, especially on untreated surfaces to start the day. Fog will begin to clear up around 10am.
Despite stubborn cloud cover, temperatures will continue to warm throughout Sunday afternoon with daytime highs near 40 degrees.
Skies clear a bit Sunday night with overnight lows in the upper 20s with another chance for patchy fog.
Winds pick up Monday with gusts up to 40 mph possible. We’ll see partly cloudy skies and daytime highs in the middle 40s. As a front passes early morning, a stray sprinkle or flurry can’t be ruled out. Widespread precipitation is not expected.
