Bogus Basin expanding to full operations [Video]

BOISE, Idaho — Skiers and snowboarders who have been hitting the slopes at Bogus Basin will soon be able to explore new terrain. All the chairlifts, including the newest additions, will open on Tuesday.

On Monday, with all the fresh snow, Bogus Basin mountain officials announced the grand opening of its new quad Bitterroot Chairlift and the opening of the Superior Express chairlift for the season.

“The weekend storm surpassed expectations, allowing us to expand terrain and fully open before the holidays,” Bogus Basin officials said in a news release. “Our team has been looking forward to this moment – we can’t wait for the community to ride the new four-person Bitterroot chairlift, and experience the many upgrades we’ve made in that area, including extensive brush cutting, slope adjustments, and the introduction of a …
