PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – Astronomical winter is off to a cold start, but we will be warming back into the upper 50s through the next week.
Saturday night and Sunday will be very cold, with temperatures failing to get above freezing Saturday, and the same story likely Sunday.
We will also be on the dry side as high pressure becomes the dominant force in the area.
The next time we may see any moisture is Monday overnight into Tuesday morning, Christmas Eve.
Temperatures will warm rapidly Monday, going from low 30s on Sunday to low 40s on Monday. By the end of next week temperatures will reach the upper 50s.
