Winter coming in like a lion… after arctic air builds in for the weekend.

Starting the second half of the weekend with that arctic cold! Less windy and mostly sunny on Sunday, but even colder. Highs Sunday in the low to mid-teens. Mostly clear skies again Sunday night allow for low temperatures below zero, in the negative single digits.

We finally begin to warm up on Monday, but it is gradual, partly sunny Monday with highs in the mid 20s. The next round of snow arrives Monday night into Tuesday, bringing another widespread light accumulation. Snow showers continue into Tuesday afternoon before high pressure begins to build in.

Mostly cloudy, calm and mild for Christmas on Wednesday with highs in the low 30s. Slightly less cloudy but very similar weather for Thursday. By Friday, we climb into the upper 30s to near 40 with partly sunny skies.
