First Alert Weather: Warmer temperatures are on the way for the holiday week [Video]

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Expect a clear sky overnight with lows in the lower to mid 30s with a warming trend beginning on Monday.

Temperatures will warm into the mid 50s Monday afternoon with sunshine continuing through Tuesday afternoon. Looks like the weather will be perfect for Santa’s arrival on Tuesday night. The sky will remain partly cloudy for Christmas eve with temperatures falling into the mid 40s.

Data is suggesting a chance for some rain on Christmas. This is a weakening system with limited rainfall. Christmas morning should be dry, but we will see increasing clouds with a 40% chance for rain during the afternoon. Highs will reach the 60s. The best time to see rain will be late morning through the afternoon.
