A man suspected of breaking into offices and small businesses across Saskatchewan over the past number of years has struck again – according to RCMP.
Canora RCMP received a report of a break and enter at a municipal office in Rama, Sask. On Aug. 2.
An investigation determined an unknown suspect broke into the office and stole credit cards and a sum of cash.
The break-in occurred sometime between July 28 and Aug. 2. Canora RCMP continues to investigate the incident.
As part of that investigation, RCMP crime analysts searched for related incidents. After a thorough review of the files, Saskatchewan RCMP believes the Rama incident may be connected to other break-ins committed across southern and central Saskatchewan in recent years.
“A suspect has been observed at several of these break-ins and is described as a male who is over the age of 40,” the news release read.
