CLINTON, Tennessee — The Anderson County Emergency and Rescue Squad has seen a lot of change over the last year. Jacob Seeber, the squad’s water rescue captain, said the size of the squad has grown tremendously.

“At the beginning of the year, I think we were at 12 members. Five of those were active, and some of them were more elderly or in support roles. Now we are up to 38 members and we’re still building that,” he said.

One of the changes made to the squad this year was the addition of in-house scuba training. The squad sent Seeber to training, so he would be able to instruct people on scuba diving.
