An animal shelter takes in 2 small pigs who explored Buffalo’s West Side [Video]

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two small pigs were recently spotted in the City of Buffalo.

No, they weren’t going to the market, but they did draw some attention on city’s West Side. The pigs were found near Grant Street, the SPCA Serving Erie County said Thursday on social media.

“Imagine this: after a long day at work, you’re driving home when you spot something a bit out of the ordinary. Your neighbors are darting across the road, all hustle and bustle as they try to catch something,” the SPCA said.

The rescue shelter said a man named Eric, who had some experience with pigs, was able to coax the pair by placing apples in a dog crate. Both pigs took the bait, and the pigs were then brought inside to get warm.
