First Alert Weather Day: Dangerous cold air to start the week [Video]

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY continues for today and tomorrow with bitterly and dangerously cold weather expected across the Midstate.

We’ll have a good deal of sunshine this afternoon, but it will stay cold with highs only in the lower to mid 20s. With the wind factored in, it will feel like we’re in the teens most of the day.

Tonight, won’t be as cold but temperatures will still drop into the teens across most of the Midstate with some higher elevations near the single digits once again. Wind chilly values will still be near the single digits tomorrow morning.

It’s expected to stay very cold tomorrow afternoon with temperatures again stalling out in the low to mid 20s with a wind chill in the teens much of the day. There will be more cloud …
