INDIANAPOLIS — As history was being made in Washington, D.C. on Monday, Jan. 20, we also received a glimpse of what the first few days will look like for the Trump administration.

President Donald Trump began with a promised flurry of executive actions on Day 1. Steven Webster, a political science professor at Indiana University, joined 13News to break it down. 

In his inauguration speech, Trump talked about changes he wants to make right off the bat, including ending asylum for illegal border crossings and the National Guard engaging in border security, but he also talked about changing the Gulf of Mexico to the “Gulf of America.” He also mentioned taking control back of the Panama Canal.
