Georgia man pardoned by Trump in Jan. 6 Capitol attack: I cried. [Video]

WACO, Ga. — A north Georgia defendant in the January 6 case said he and his family are greatly relieved by a pardon from newly inaugurated President Donald Trump.  

 Phillip “Bunky” Crawford was one of the hundreds arrested, more than three dozen of whom are from Georgia.

“Five and a half months on house arrest. And I wasn’t even indicted yet,” Crawford mused during a Tuesday visit to his rural Haralson County home.

Crawford said it has been an unsettling two and a half years.  

“They come to my house,” he said. “Took my guns.”
