Breezy conditions expected for today as temperatures soar above normal for the end of January [Video]

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) — We’re going to see plenty of sunshine again today, but it will be a little breezy again. High temperatures should get into the low 50s for most of us this afternoon! Wind gusts will be between 30 and 35 mph across most of the region today, but we could see some gusts of 40+ mph in northeastern South Dakota and in western Minnesota. The wind will die down tonight.

We’ll be cooling down slightly for Wednesday with highs dropping down into the mid 40s. More 50s are on the way for Thursday along with more sunshine, though! We’ll cool down just a bit for Friday down to the lower 40s, but that will still be above average. The wind doesn’t look to be much of a factor during this time.
