DR. WALLACE: I recently graduated college and have been working locally in my chosen field at a job with a small company in my hometown. The good news is that I’m doing the work I prefer, but the flip side is that this company doesn’t pay much and there is little present opportunity for advancement due to its size. Recently I was contacted by a “recruiter” to interview with a national company in my field. Since I only had to drive one hour on a Saturday to do the interview in a larger city in our state, I decided to go to the interview.
