SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – Although we had a few passing showers Sunday evening it was a mainly dry, pleasant weekend with low levels of humidity with highs in the low to middle 80′s.
Low clouds and fog will give way to sunshine this morning followed by increasing clouds with showers and thunderstorms developing Monday afternoon. Storms have the potential to be strong to severe with isolated damaging winds and large hail. Any storms that develop also have the potential bring torrential rain leading to isolated flash flooding.
Storms end this evening followed by partial clearing. Tuesday looks to be mostly sunny, warm and still a bit muggy with highs back into the lower and middle 80s.
Wednesday will be warm and increasingly more humid ahead of a cold front. The front will bring another round of showers and storms during the afternoon with a few strong storms possible.
