CEO of Groupe Jay N Jay, Sally Akua Amoakowaa Mensah, popularly known as Akua GMB has opened up on the collapse of her CCTV camera business, Ring.

Speaking to Irene Adubea Aning on The Career Trail programme, the entrepreneur stated that, Ring Camera was introduced to help individuals monitor their homes remotely.

Despite the promising start, the technical demands of the system, particularly its internet connectivity requirements, proved a stumbling block for less tech-savvy clients.

The entrepreneur revealed that, she was forced to shut down the business due to the constant complaints.

“I introduced Ring into the Ghanaian market. But I was facing some challenges. It is quite technical, in the sense that it uses internet. So if somebody buys it and the person is not technologically inclined, the person will have issues in using it.
