Alex Cooper knows all about making it as an entrepreneur — and she’s now sharing her advice on how to do the same.

“My advice to everyone that is trying to start businesses is don’t get sidetracked,” the Call Her Daddy podcast host, 30, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

“Don’t try to appease everyone. Don’t try to do a million things at once,” continues Cooper, who recently launched her new Unwell Hydration beverage line.

“If you focus on the one thing that you are educated on, and you are essentially a savant in, then just focus on that and trust your gut because trying to appease everyone is not going to get you anywhere,” the star adds.
