Amherst’s future Costco gets an architect [Video]

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – Amherst’s future Costco location has an architect. According to Buffalo Business First, Seattle-based MG2 Corp. filed a building application with the Amherst Building Department to build the long awaited Costco at 4230 Ridge Lea Road. The Building Department needs to review the application, which could take three weeks or more.

Porchtoberfest in Elmwood Village is rebranding to Autumn on Elmwood. This year’s event kicks off next Saturday, September 28th at the Bidwell Parkway Farmers Market. Attendees will get a punch card for participating in a village shop crawl which can be turned in to win an Elmwood Experience Package with numerous gift cards to Elmwood businesses.

Buffalo United Flag Football kicks off this weekend at Ensminger Fields in Tonawanda. The league, which is sponsored by the Bills, gives members of the LGBTQ+ community an opportunity to play the game in a judgment free environment.
