Andy McCarthy Predicts Trump Will Win Appeal in NY Case [Video]

Fox News contributor and legal analyst Andy McCarthy predicted on Tuesday that President-elect Donald Trump would likely win any appeal he might file on pertaining to his conviction in the New York falsification of business records case brought against him by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Asked first to explain Judge Juan Merchan’s latest ruling suspending proceedings in Trump’s sentencing, McCarthy said that he was doing so because Trump would soon be inaugurated as president.

“So this means when he’s 83, the case comes back?” asked anchor Bill Hemmer.

“Yeah, well, if they deign to bring it back, I mean, look, it’s a ridiculous case. There’s a lot of reasons why it should be thrown out on appeal.
