Wednesday began with some patchy frost across Mid-Michigan, but bright sunshine for much of the day helped temperatures recover pretty well. Thursday will begin on an even chillier note as morning low temperatures dip into the lower 30s. A hard freeze will be possible in some areas away from Lake Huron.
Thursday will be a beautiful autumn day with wall-to-wall sunshine expected for the day. As the sun bathes the ABC12 viewing area, there will be very little wind, so it will feel very nice once we get past the morning’s chill. High temperatures for the day will be mainly in the low-to-mid 60s, with a few spots staying in the 50s.
We will experience quick warming for Friday as winds shift in from the southwest. We will have bright sunshine early, but the trend for the day will be for clouds to increase from north-to-south as wind speeds increase …
