Arrests made after L.A. businesses looted, bus set on fire [Video]

Multiple people were arrested after businesses were looted and a Metro bus was set on fire in downtown Los Angeles Wednesday night as people celebrated the Dodgers’ World Series win.

The Los Angeles Police Department announced the city of L.A. was on tactical alert around 9:22 p.m. Throughout the night, the departments issued dispersal orders at various locations, including Sunset Blvd. and Vin Scully Ave., Olympic Blvd. and Figueroa St., and 9th St. between Flower and Grand.

A Metro bus was set ablaze near Sunset Blvd. and Echo Park Ave. just before midnight, according to KTLA.

According to ABC 7, the bus operator and the five passengers onboard got out before the fire. No injuries were reported.

There were some attempted break-ins of stores and shops and at various places around L.A. A Footlocker located on Broadway that had been boarded a few days prior to the game wasbroken into, Jon Baird reported.

Fox 11 reported that at least 12 people were arrested.
