Artificial Intelligence in the Workplace: MVCC Hosts Event to Discuss Technology | Education [Video]

UTICA, N.Y. — Artificial intelligence is advancing at incredible speeds, and it’s just a matter of time before companies will have to integrate the technology into their business or fall behind. 

Todd McLees, the founder of Human Skills AI, addressed a host of business representatives at Mohawk Valley Community College. 

“In every industrial revolution, there are winners and there are losers,” McLees said. 

McLees’s company helps people build the skills necessary to work alongside artificial intelligence.

“It’s still very much algorithmic. It’s still math in the background, but it feels very human. It’s the most human technology that’s ever been created and so now it becomes this assistant or coworker or colleague, but it’s becoming much smarter much faster,” McLees said. 

McLees added that much of the work being done to help integrate artificial intelligence into the workforce starts with critical thinking at high schools and colleges like MVCC.
